Michael McDonald (musician, songwriter, producer) was born on February 12, 1952 in
St. Louis, MO and is married to singer, songwriter
Amy Holland.
After a successful career with Steely Dan and
The Doobie Brothers, he began his solo career in
1982. Since then he has released several solo albums, recorded duets and background vocals with a wide range
of artists, as well as song-writing performed by other vocalists.
